About the Founder
Nourish Botanica is a shop, garden & cafe (forthcoming) social space encouraging connection through plants, flowers, coffee, tea & wellness.
Nourish Botanica aims to be a space for wellness and gatherings that support the local hospitality, art and agriculture ecosystem through fresh food and botanicals. The eatery will serve Caribbean and Southern deli-style vegan offerings by day and open in the evening for public and private events. It will also operate as a nursery, selling plants, flowers and herbs as well as offering gardening education and services through our farm partners.
Nourish Botanica’s Coconut Curry Soup, vegan-based ingredients made with locally grown veggies produced by Black farmers.
About the founder.
Quianah Upton, founder and programming director of Nourish Botanica, is an Atlanta based ecosystems builder creating spaces for healing, curiosity and impact. Through Nourish Botanica, she gathers flowers, plants and people together as an artist & spatial designer.
She is Caribbean, originally from the Virgin Islands and South Florida, that informs her love of lush, emotive communal green spaces. Quianah is an army brat and part of her childhood was spent growing up in a food insecure neighborhood in South Florida.
She has worked in sales management for 10 years followed by 12 years of art, agriculture and creative event planning and programming. Her creative approach displays a combination of these disciplines with a focus on cultural integrity, historical context and greenspace.
